Go Green with Molly's Suds

This week I received product samples from Molly's Suds—an eco-responsible company launched by a mom, who like many of us, is trying to make her home a little less toxic. The Molly's Suds story will touch your heart, and hopefully your mind, to consider more small steps you can take to rid your home and life of the chemicals and pollutants in food, bath, body, and cleaning products that are contributing to disease, cancer, disorders and infertility.

Molly's Suds' biggest seller is the Molly's Suds Laundry Powder. This week I gave it a test drive and was quite pleased. I liked that all I needed was a tablespoon of powder. And I loved that there was no offending artificial scent. As we've begun removing toxic chemicals and artificial scents from our home, I have been amazed by how intolerant I have become of chemically scented products. You too?

Each bag of Molly's Suds Laundry Powder provides enough cleaning power for 128 regular loads at a cost of $0.17 per load! It's an enzyme-free formula that is completely safe for HE and front loaders. It's perfume and dye-free and fabulous on cloth diapers (you just may need a tad more for heavily soiled diapers).

What are Molly's Suds Free of?

Molly's Suds contain none of these nasties; SLS/SLES, phosphates, petrochemicals, formaldehyde, parabens, 1,4 dioxane, EDTA, diethanolamines, synthetic surfactants, PEG, NPE's. YES! I like that—very much!

Molly's Suds Keeps it Simple?

Molly's Suds keeps it simple—and pure. No "laundry list" of ingredients here folks! The Laundry Powder is a simple blend of these 100% all natural:

  • Sodium Carbonate: AKA soda ash
  • Sodium Bicarbonate: AKA baking soda
  • Epsom Salt: A naturally occurring mineral found in water
  • Sea Salt: We all know what salt is
  • Organic Peppermint Oil: Just a dash

The loads of laundry I ran with Molly's Suds Laundry Powder came out clean and fresh. I was quite pleased ... and knowing that my clothes and the water I washed them in weren't contaminated with toxic substances gave me great peace of mind.

This week Molly's Suds announced that the nation's leading environmental health watchdog, the Environmental Working Group, rated Molly's Suds Laundry Powder an "A". Kudos to Molly's Suds!!
