Marshmallows in Progress

POST UPDATE:  Marshmallows are done! Here is the recipe.

Since making a batch of honey marshmallow fluff following a recipe in this book, I have been obsessed with marshmallows—and making them with natural sweeteners.

Though I haven't landed on the perfect flavor combo yet, I thought I would tease you with these.

Aren't they adorable!!

Every night after dinner it's been "chocolate milk with marshmallows on top for dessert, mom!"

Want the recipe? Let me know in a comment.

Any good flavor ideas? I'm thinking peppermint? Or how about pumpkin spice?

I would love a marshmallow recipe!!! My kids love marshmallows and I feel so bad feeding them bagged marshmallows because I know they're full of junk ingredients.

I keep meaning to try homemade marshmallows!

Hi Lexie! I would love the recipe...my 12 year old has never had a marshmallow!

Recipe PLEEEASE :). I have made them multiple times with corn syrup. Sure wish I had an alternative so I didn't have to feel guilty.

I would love this recipe as I have a daughter with food allergies!

I would absolutely love the recipe! Especially this time of the year, my kids seem to feel the pressure of their food allergies. Lots of activities surrounding food brings that out of course. We are just now experiencing this "peer pressure".

My boys are staring wide-eyed at your lovely marshmallow photo and saying, "Mom, you have to make those!" -- I think they want the recipe! ;) For flavour ideas, my boys are suggesting maple, vanilla, orange, or strawberry.

Oh my goodness! I had about given up on finding a good marshmallow recipe that was cane sugar-free. I would love the recipe, and I will definitely be sending some over to my sister's house (she hasn't had a marshmallow in ages because of her corn allergy).
